About the Open Position
Full-Time Hourly, Exempt
Position Overview
The Technical Producer manages client relationships for their assigned accounts through frequent, friendly contact and consistently delivering exceptional results. This position will help clients realize their vision for their in-person, hybrid, or virtual events. With this knowledge, the Technical Producer will work with internal teams to produce detailed project proposals, including technical specifications, design concepts, and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Build lasting relationships with clients, inspiring repeat business and new client referrals
- Leverage technical knowledge to plan, budget, and execute events
- Collaborate with internal teams to create project proposals for clients
- Oversee teams during planning and production stages to ensure successful events
- Foster a supportive, respectful work environment
- Effective budget management to ensure project profitability
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date job sheets
- Timely and accurate completion of the billing process, which includes expenses, freelance invoices, receipts, and labor
- Adhere to all safety protocols in the office and on job sites

- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
- Ability to prioritize competing demands
- Aptitude for critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving
- Superior organization and time management
- Proven record of successfully managing client relationships
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Production Manager/Project Manager experience
- Significant knowledge of the event services industry is required
- Experience drafting project budget proposals are required
- Experience with tradeshows a plus
- Working knowledge of Vectorworks is a plus
Working Conditions
- Frequent travel to off-site and out-of-state locations is required
- Evening and weekend availability is required
