As always, the month of November is extremely busy for our AV Alliance members around the world. We have collected the top news and updates on social media from our global network from the past week, giving you a glimpse into how the second half of the months is starting to look like for our members.
ES:ME | Doha, Qatar
Doha-based AV Alliance member ES:ME Entertainment Services contributed to bringing the AXION, a temporary large-scale light installation to life for this year’s Noor Riyadh Festival between November 3-19 in Saudi Arabia. Created especially for dusty locations, this massive light show resembled a scientific device for particle detection or space exploration with its grid-like arrangement of light tubes and moving lights. As the technical supplier, ES:ME was responsible for the rigging, audio, and lighting in the creation of this art piece.
Dorier SA | Geneva, Switzerland
Our Geneva-based member Dorier SA was responsible for the technical production of the Annual Gala of Switzerland’s most exclusive private membership club TENco at the Four Seasons Hotel de Bergues in Geneva. The event served as the occasion to introduce the TENco Foundation, which was the main beneficiary of all proceeds of the event raised alongside Caritas.
Novatech Creative Event Technology | Adelaide, Australia
Our member in Adelaide, Novatech Creative Event Technology was contracted to provide technical production for the official launch event of LIV Golf at the Adelaide Oval stadium, where it was was announced that South Australia’s capital – the Grange Golf Club in particular – will play host to Australia’s debut LIV Golf League event on April 21-23, 2023 as part of their 14-tournament schedule.
Habegger AG | Zurich, Switzerland
Having worked with Swiss building materials manufacturer Holcim for the past six years, our Zurich-based member Habegger AG provided a special, immersive projection experience for the group’s latest Senior Leaders Meeting at Zurich’s JED Events venue. Check out their photos below:
Brill AV Media | Warsaw, Poland
Since our Warsaw-based member Brill AV Media‘s inception,they have been working closely with the mother company of our Czech member, AV Media. Earlier this month the Polish team visited the offices of sister AV Media Systems, the AV installation branch of AV Media, to share their experiences and challenges in event production. During their visit the the Brill and AV Media teams discussed plans for future joint activities and visited some inspiring places where AV Media Systems is responsible for the implementation of AV installations.
sld mediatec GmbH | Nuremberg, Germany
Smart Production Solutions (SPS) is an international trade fair covering the entire spectrum of the smart and digital automation industry. SPS 2022 took place in the second week of november at NürnbergMesse, and our local member sld mediatec GmbH supplied and installed two massive curved LED walls at the center of the booth of automation machinery manufacturer SEW Eurodrive.
Special Effects Ltd. | Budapest, Hungary
Our Hungarian member company Special Effects was responsible for the technical production and installation of the 20th Álmok Álmodói (Dreamers of Dreams) interactive exhibition in Budapest’s Millenáris Park. Special Effects’s Exhibition and Installation department was on location for 3 months to build a world for the exhibition that introduces inventors and innovative tools that “take visitors from the depths of the mines into the far reaches of space”. VCI Event Technology | Anaheim, CA, USA
Our Anaheim-based member company, VCI Event Technology has announced its partnership with the Homeless Intervention Services of Orange County. HIS-OC assists people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless, providing shelter and supportive service programs to the community’s most vulnerable population. The team at VCI believe in and fully support HIS-OC’s mission to support people to overcome homelessness and achieve independence.
Eventi-X | Rome, Italy
The Intesa Sanpaolo Next Generation ATP Finals 2022 were held at the PalaLido Allianz Cloud on 8-12 November, the most futuristic event of the sports season due to its innovative formula, the state-of-the-art technologies used, and of course the presence of the best youth world tennis champions. Our Rome-based member Eventi-X Group was responsible for technical production, supplying and installing the LED wall that covered the entire perimeter of the tennis court, as well as managing the broadcasting of the event.
Smart Choice Audiovisuais | Porto, Portugal
Our Porto-based member Smart Choice Audiovisuais had the opportunity to unleash their creativity as well as execute the technical production of the Global Meeting 2022 of the Amorim Cork Composites group in the picturesque Monastery of Saint Bento da Vitoria in Porto, Portugal. Podimatas SA | Athens, Greece
In the beginning of the month King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Queen Máxima made an official visit to Greece by the invitation of the President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou. During their visit, our Greek member company, Podimatas SA was responsible for the technical production of some of the official events, such as a conference on domestic violence at the Book Tower of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center; the “The Squeeze”, the 14th Pitching Contest organized by Orange Grove and the Dutch Embassy in Greece; the reception of the Dutch community in Technopolis, etc.
