Novatech Creative Event Technology | Adelaide, Australia
Our Adelaide-based Australian member Novatech represented South Australia at the Meetings & Events Australia 2021 – 22 National Awards Night held on the Gold Coast, and were thrilled to accept the National Award for Audio Visual Services. This being their third win in a row, they have now entered the prestigious Hall of Fame for the first time.
A huge congratulations from us, too, to the entire team at Novatech on the well-deserved recognition of their hard work and dedication to delivering exceptional events and experiences!
Those living in and around the area are still able to witness the incredible atmosphere that Novatech has once again created at the Adelaide Botanic Garden for this year’s Illuminate Adelaide, which wraps up on Sunday, July 30. For the third year in a row, Novatech supplied event technology for this project and once again worked with Moment Factory, the team behind the show Light Cycles, to transform the Gardens into an illuminated wonderland. Smart Choice has also recently delivered technical production for the Portuguese creamic tile brand Margres in the city of Beato, celebrating the company’s 20th anniversary, as well as the 15th anniversary of their “LOVE” collection. Colortone Staging & Rentals | Cleveland, OH, USA
Our Cleveland-based member company Colortone Staging & Rentals recently delivered the technical production of the annual event of the Greater Cleveland Partnership, creating an unforgettable experience for more than 1,000 guests. The Colortone team utilized an audio package with strategic speaker placement to fill the entirety of the Cleveland Museum of Art’s atrium. They also provided a curved LED 3D wall measuring 65 ft from end to end, and a range of large LCD monitors lining the walkway entrance into the event space, creating an immersive experience for guests.
Habegger AG | Zurich, Switzerland
The annual St.Gallen Festival took place in the city’s Abbey District from June 23 to July 7. A long-standing partner of the festical since 2006, our Zurich-based member Habegger AG was responsible for the entire lighting technology on site, and also staged the opera Andrea Chénier by Umberto Giordano against the breathtaking backdrop of the baroque cathedral of the UNESCO World Heritage Site..
In order to utilize synergies, the three major Swiss companies Zurich Insurance Group AG, Credit Suisse and Swiss Re joined together to form a so-called GV-Pool for the realization of their annual general meetings at the Hallenstadion Zurich this year. Habegger AG were significantly involved in the success of the three events, as they were responsible responsible for the intercom, the lighting, the entire rigging as well as for part of the stage construction. In addition, their venue team ensured the event technical operation in the Hallenstadion.

Besides the NBA, Media Stage has also been busy with a project related to the NFL: once again the team was responsible for the pre-game tunnel lighting show of the Stanley Cup Final in the FLA Live Arena, which eventually saw the Florida Panthers score their first ever Stanley Cup Final victory in franchise history.
PM Blue | Hamburg, Germany
Our Hamburg-based member company PM Blue was responsible for the equipment and maintenance of the lighting technology of the Sigur Rós & London Contemporary Orchestra concert at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg on June 18. The Icelandic band is one of the most influential post-rock bands, and they brought their spherical soundscapes to the Elbphilharmonie to fully unfold with the London Contemporary Orchestra, conducted by Robert Ames
Nordic Rentals AS | Løsning, Denmark
This year our Danish member company Nordic Rentals was responsible for the complete AV production of the Scandinavian leg of Andrea Bocelli’s World Tour 2023. The Nordic team has toured with Andrea Bocelli many times before and were happy to support him again in Denmark in Herning and Copenhagen, as well as in Oslo and Stockholm in Norway and Sweden, respectively. sld mediatec GmbH | Nuremberg, Germany
The Exhibition Centre London, short for ExCeL, is a fairground in east London that opened in November 2000 and spans over 400,000 m2, with the exhibition hall itself consisting of two halls, each of the size of 32,500 m2. Our Nuremberg-based member sld mediatec GmbH recently installed new digital signage surfaces at the ExCeL, including three double-sided indoor LED walls with ceiling mounting, an outdoor LED wall gate arch at the fair entrance, various pyramid and cube led walls, single-sided and double-sided LED screens and much more. These digital signage surfaces inform visitors of the fair about upcoming exhibitions, weather, public transport, etc., and serve as a guide or even as an advertisement space.
